For the longest time, I had a hard time finding a keyboard that I liked. Then one day, I was working in the data centre at McGill university, and I discovered for myself the best keyboard on earth. As luck would have it, they were about to throw it out. I adopted it.
For several years now this ancient IBM model M keyboard -the original PS/2 monster - with the clickety keys and glorious lack of any MSFT keys or other rubbish - was my faithful servant. Through spills and code that would turn mormons green.
It died at the hands of my cat and a glass of water last night.
Sigh.
I have another one on order. Thank Goodness for Ebay.
For now, I have to suffer with a IBM model A with a dicky space bar. And no clickety keys.
At least theres no MSFT keys.
